It’s Hatch Chili Time!

I love this time of the year in Texas. It’s hatch chili time and the aroma in the air as they roast the chilis in front of the grocery stores is amazing.  Mouth-watering, really.

I buy a batch every year. Hatch chilis are delicious in cornbread, in stews and soups, in scrambled eggs and in flour tortillas. Don’t forget hatch chili salsa. I could drink that stuff!

Who else loves hatch chilis?
